MANTRA Chain Status
MANTRA Chain — post-v8.4.0 snapshots available for node recovery
Snapshots taken after the v8.4.0 upgrade are now published for both networks, for any partner or vendor who needs to rebuild a node. Both networks are producing blocks: mainnet (mantra-1) has been running normally since approximately 05:30 UTC / 13:30 HKT on 22 August, and DuKong (mantra-dukong-1) is back online and open for anyone to participate again.
Before you restore, confirm you are on v8.4.0
Release: https://github.com/MANTRA-Chain/mantrachain/releases/tag/v8.4.0
Container image: ghcr.io/mantra-chain/mantrachain:v8.4.0
The v8.4.0 tag was re-pushed during the recovery, so re-pull rather than reusing a binary you fetched earlier last week.
Mainnet — mantra-1 (full node, post-upgrade state)
goleveldb, height 17,481,927: https://snapshots.mantrachain.io/mantra-1_goleveldb_fullnode_17481927.tar.lz4
pebbledb, height 17,501,484: https://snapshots.mantrachain.io/mantra-1_pebbledb_fullnode_17501484.tar.lz4
Testnet — mantra-dukong-1 (full node, post-upgrade state)
goleveldb, height 16,127,990: https://snapshots.mantrachain.io/mantra-dukong-1_goleveldb_fullnode_16127990.tar.lz4
pebbledb, height 16,140,945: https://snapshots.mantrachain.io/mantra-dukong-1_pebbledb_fullnode_16140945.tar.lz4
Pick the snapshot matching your node's database backend — restoring pebbledb state onto a goleveldb-configured node, or the reverse, will not start.
DuKong peers and seed
DuKong is open for everyone to participate again. Set the following in ~/.mantrachain/config/config.toml:
persistent_peers = "bbc4e58ac6df126d3e6ded94060512237692cb2f@34.92.18.154:26656,bf0391ac5a3fc62c29e9711d942403e2a0db94b4@35.220.205.214:26656,0b9d7d7daefacc1903cecef392c6f10528839fa6@34.92.99.43:26656,da54ab1be9e88bdfa2845269ef24f975bb1c90c1@34.92.241.129:26656"seeds = "7e061edecef73a700b699c785f61a44ca981ff7f@34.150.103.79:26656"No action is required from token holders. User balances were not altered by the incident, and there was no rollback or state change between the halt and resumption. https://status.mantrachain.io remains the authoritative source for network status.
If you hit anything unexpected during recovery, reach out to your usual MANTRA contact.
